We play a lot of board games. But our friend and game expert Rick Thornquist plays even more! So we said that he should do up a Top Ten of 2007 (so far) so we could put it on the web site for everyone. And about an hour later, we got his list!:

You wanted my top 10 games of 2007 (so far), you got 'em! I've added some comments as well if you want to use them.
1. Space Dealer - Very original real-time game set in space. Quite unique though perhaps not for everyone.
2. Fire & Axe - Great strategy game with lots for those who like German games as well as the Axis & Allies crowd.
3. Age of Empires III - Very good deeper strategy game.
4. Medici - The classic auction game in a new version.
5. Can't Stop - A classic that is finally back in production. Every gamer should have this one.
6. The Pillars of the Earth - A very good strategy game. For those who like Caylus but want something shorter, this is it.
7. Zooloretto - The German game of the year award winner and deservedly so. A great family game.
8. Arkadia - A neat medium strategy game that is done in a hour.
9. Notre Dame - A very nice deeper strategy game.
10. Wicked Witches Way - A unique light dice rolling game that requires speed and a good memory.
